I don't really know if this is more fun or more useful as it is very strong and the kids are driving me, the cats, and dog crazy with it. The screen on it is super clean and very easy to read it took me a minute to figure out all the buttons but it wasn't hard. The handle is great and just the right size if you were to use it for any long period of time it would still be comfortable. The lazer is one of the best features not just for fun but for the distance and accuracy it allows you to have. You can use the Nubbe Temperature Gun on anything from electrical boxes to attics to surfaces you are getting ready to paint and it is always reliable and accurate.
